This paper analyzes whether Trade in Services Chapters of Korea s FTAs stipulate a higher level of trade liberalization compared to GATS. In particular, this papers focuses on what regulations the FTAs have to resolve trade barriers or trade restrictions that affect cross-border trade in services. As a result of analysis, several GATS+ provisions are identified in the areas of transparency, domestic regulation, recognition, market access, and national treatment. Based on this result, this paper discusses how the GATS+ provisions can be used to increase the level of trade in services liberalization in the future. This paper attempts to contribute to the liberalization and trade openness of global service trade based on reciprocity.
